Adger Junius Mitchell passed away on Thursday, June 19, 2025, at the age of 83-years-old. A.J. leaves behind his devoted & loving children; James, Donna, Alice, Robert & Joey. A.J. is proceeded in death by his late wife, Karen Louise Sovonick Mitchell & his former wife, Eve Marie Nadas Mitchell.

A visitation for A.J. will be held on Friday, June 27, 2025, from 12:00pm to 12:30pm at St. Paul's Rock Creek Episcopal Parish located at 100 Allison Street, N.W., Washington, D.C. 20011. Funeral Services will occur on Friday, June 27, 2025, from 12:30pm to 2:00pm, at St. Paul's Rock Creek Episcopal Parish, located at 100 Allison Street, N.W., Washington, D.C. 20011. A committal and burial will occur on Friday, June 27, 2025, at 2:00pm at Rock Creek Cemetery, 201 Allison Street, N.W., Washington, D.C. 20011.
