Annie (Washington) Powell

Annie Powell of Washington, DC was born into this earthly world in Charlottesville, VA to the late James and Ellen Washington on the 16th of June in 1939. She gained her wings and journeyed to her heavenly home on the 22nd of July 2023.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Herman Powell and daughter, Betty Douglas.

She is survived by her daughters Dorothy Dunbar-Brannum (Michel), Gloria and Sheila Powell, Carolyn Barnes (Oliver), Jaqueline Brown, and Artina Swilley, honorary son Wonzell Wilson, 20 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren,  3 great-great-grandchildren, fur baby Jack and a host of other relatives and friends.
