Anthony Lorenzo Welch

Anthony Lorenzo Welch was born in Washington, DC on November 15,1969, to Michelle Hemsley and James Welch. He returned home to be with his Heavenly Father on March 26, 2021. Anthony was preceded in death by his grandparents James & Gladys Hemsley, James & Beulah Mae Welch, and his stepfather Dennis L. Tyree who helped in raising him. Left to cherish his memory are the many who loved him unconditionally: His parents Michelle Hemsley Tyree and James C. Welch, fiancée LaTarsha Murchison, his daughter Tyawna Burnette, sons Anton Burnette and Amario Murchison, grandchildren Tylen Burnette and Amina Thomas-Burnette, sisters Tina Tyree Mathis (Jeremi) and Denise Tyree Lucas (Clinton), nieces Madison and Amayah Mathis, nephew Clinton Lucas Jr., and a host of other family members and friends who loved him dearly.

In honor of our dear Anthony, we leave you with his favorite salutation,  “Pray, Eat Well & Exercise!”
