Entered into eternal rest on Thursday, March 14, 2024, at Layhill Rehabilitation Center. He was a native Washingtonian, a graduate of Randall Jr. High, Dunbar Sr. High and Bowie State University, and proud Life member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated. Arthur served in the U.S. Army, was an outstanding athletic high school and college basketball player, and had a career as an accountant. He is survived by his wife Patricia A. King, daughter Tiffany V. King, and sister Cammille K. Taylor(Leroy), and a host of extended family and friends. He was preceded by his parents Curley Sr. and Edith V.M. King, and siblings - brothers Curley Jr., Rev. Thedore, and Larry King, sisters – Geraldine P. King, Cynthia K. Hall, and Carol K. Oliver.
