Avila Kimberly King, lovingly known as “Kim,” transitioned to her eternal resting place on March 13, 2021 at the age of 48. She was preceded in death by her mother Lorraine Vernette Mosby, her grandmother Katie Mae Dimmins, her grandfather Luther Mosby and her aunt Jewel Ball and uncle Thomas Dimmins. To cherish her memory, Kim leaves a devoted daughter, Nagina King, and three phenomenal grandsons, Drew, Tyrese, and Josiah, who worshipped the ground she walked on. Kim is also survived by her father, Reginald King (Michelle); her forever friend and brother, Christopher Park (LaToya), aunts and surrogate mothers who loved and supported her through thick and thin: Faye Mosby Leonard (Mike), Katrina Parrott (Robert), Eleanor Pope, Antoinette Montgomery (Kyle), Brenda Lightening-Tolbert (James); Denise Collymore; Deborah Dimmins and uncles Reginald Johnson (Janet), Vernon Mosby (Lois) as well as a host of incredible nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.
