Booker Dalton Wade

BOOKER DALTON WADE of Washington, D.C., son of the late Rufus and Mary Hairston Wade, was born on October 30, 1325 in Martinsville, Virginia. He was the last surviving of eleven children born to this union. The Lord peacefully called him home on Friday, June 28, 2024. Booker was married to the late Georgie Preston for a union of 60 lovign years. From that union two daughters were born: Ruth Wade Marriott, Baltimore, MD (Melvin, son-in-law Washington, D.C.) and Mary Taylor Wade of Washington, D.C.: one beloved granddaughter, Tamara C. Marriott also of Baltimore, MD and one foster son, Michael Hairston of Cleveland, OH. He is also survived by a host of extended family and friends.
