A much loved father, brother, David Anthony Yeldell was born in Washington, D.C., January 22, 1963, to the late Clarence D. and Delores A. Thompkins. He departed this life Saturday, June 15, 2024. David was preceded in death by his brother, Phillip Yeldell, Sr., and his maternal grandparents, Edward (Eddie) and Ethel T. (Tarta) Crawford. He leaves to cherish his memory his daughter, Kiana Ellsworth; two sons, Khalil and Bashir; one granddaughter, Nicole Ellsworth; one step-daughter, Sade Ball; one step-son, Ronald Pinkney; three sisters, Debra Ann Thompkins, Denise Anastasia Thompkins, and Mary Stephanie Yeldell; two uncles, John Crawford (Sheila) and Michael Upson; two nieces, Christina Crayton (James) and Asia White; five nephews, Howard Ashmon, Bernard Johnson (Lakisha), Gregory White, Aakiem Yeldell, and Phillip Yeldell, Jr.; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends. He also leaves to cherish his memory Tiffany Linkins (Tee), the love of his life with whom he shared over 15 years of love and laughter.
