Earline Matthews was born on November 11, 1945 in Washington, DC to Earl Matthews and Rose Wracks. She was educated in the District of Colombia Public School System graduating from Dunbar Senior High School in 1963, and earned an associates degree in Accounting from Howard University. Her career started with the city council under Hilda Mason and Marion Berry, and later severed over 20 years as Program Manager for the National Association of Colored Women (NACW). Earline was predeceased by children Warren and Dana Matthews. She is survived by Son Wayne Matthews, nine grandchildren and a host of other loving relatives and friends.

Holy Redeemer Church, 206 N.Y. Ave., NW, Washington, DC
