Passed May 15, 2021, and was born on July 3, 1953, in Washington, D.C. to the late James and Beulah Mae Welch. He was the oldest of five siblings. He leaves to cherish his memory; two sons, James, and John Welch; one sister, Shirley Welch; two brothers, Jerry Welch (Patricia) and Robert Anderson (Sheila); three grandchildren, Anton Burnette, Amario Murchinson and Julian Urbaczka; one great granddaughter, Amina Thomas; a life long friend Michelle "Mickey" Tyree, nephews, nieces; and a host of other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by son Anthony Lorenzo Welch.
