Juanita Elizabeth (Page) Mathews was born to the late Samuel and Mary Page on September 12,1930 in Albemarle County, VA. She graduated from DC's Armstrong High School in 1948. She retired from the DEA as an Administrative Officer. She was a longtime parishioner at Sacred Heart Catholic Church within the Archdiocese of Washington. DC. Juanita enjoyed the company of friends and family, music, travel, crossword puzzles, gardening, game shows, and she was an outstanding cook.
She leaves to cherish her memory; son Charles P. Mathews (Denise); daughter Carole L. Spires; sister Christine Matthews; grandchildren Khary, Adam (Samantha), and Zaire Mathews, Kevin, Sr. (Keya) and Keith Spires; nephews, Terrence and Kevyn Matthews, Zuri Blount-Tate, Brandon Owens and niece, Monique Beutel (Brad); a host of beloved great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends and an "Honorary Son" Phillip Suggs.
