Noble Whitehead Obituary

Noble Augustine Whitehead was born on July 21,1946. He departed this life on December 29, 2021 at the Washington Hospital Center. He was the second oldest of four children, a twin brother, Norman and two sisters, Therese and Cherie, born to Miriam Louise Toye Whitehead and Norman E.Q. Whitehead.
Noble was baptized at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, attended and graduated alongside his twin brother, Norman in the first graduating class of Holy Redeemer School in 1960. He then attended St. Emma's military academy in VA, and then attended and graduated from Washington, DC public schools. Noble then began working at Ottenberg's Bakery, followed by "4H" where his career was cut short due to a disabling car accident.
Although,  everyone knew Noble as a big ladies man, He never married or had children. Noble was sometimes stubborn, but had a sense of humor that was unmatched. Anyone who crossed Noble's path was greeted with a joke, song, rhyme, and smile. Noble would open his heart and home to help any and everyone in need. No judgment and no questions asked. In return,  he would call all the family and neighborhood family and say "Let me hold a few dollars." (Smile) You could not see Noble and leave without blessing his pockets. Noble always had a serious passion for reading and learning, which he passionately shared his knowledge with all his family and friends. He was a die hard Washington Sports Fan, especially the Washington Redskins/Washington Football Team.
Noble will be sorely missed and remembered for countless things in his lifetime. He leaves to cherish his memory: Two sisters, Therese J. Davis and Cherie A. Gibson; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other loving relatives and friends. Noble is preceded in death by his twin brother, Norman, his parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles,  and nephew, RJ.
