RITA DORSEY Obituary
Rita J. Dorsey, a resident of the District of Columbia went home peacefully for eternal rest on Wednesday, October 18, 2023, at the age of 93. She was born to the late Milton T. and Mary Eva Dorsey.
She retired from the Federal Government in 1988 from Walter Reed Army Medical Center as a secretary for Neurology and continued working for D.C. Government for another few years.
Rita was a member of several organizations including The Capital Club National, Walter Reed Toastmasters International, The Jamaican Nationals Association (JNA) of Washington D.C., D.C Voter Registration Volunteers, Mary Kay, a lifelong member of the Catholic Sodality and SBS Alumni.
Those left to cherish precious memories include her daughter, Niquette Jackson, and her husband, Nigel, her grandsons, Nicholas and Nathaniel; a host of relatives and friends.
Rita was preceded in death by her parents, siblings Milton Jr., Mary Louise, Joseph, and Bernice.
