Sandra Lee Thomas, a beloved mother and cherished matriarch, passed away peacefully at her home in Warrenville, South Carolina, on December 19, 2024, surrounded by her loving children. Born in Washington, D.C., Sandra was the daughter of the late Robert Lee and the late Helen Williams. She attended Dunbar High School and later pursued a career in nursing, dedicating herself to caring for others through her work at various hospitals in the greater D.C. area. Sandra was a devoted mother to her three children: Anthony (Donna), LeAnton (Yolanda), and Teia. / Her unwavering support and unconditional love were the foundation of her family, and she took immense pride in nurturing and guiding her children. Sandra's legacy continues through her 12 grandchildren-Anthony, Quione, Nicolin, Tanisha, Imani, Jaleeah, Javon, LeAnton Jr., Imani, Aniya, Jarae, and Jaleel-and 11 great-grandchildren who will forever cherish her memory. Sandra was preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband, Donald; her three sisters, Jennie, Beverly, and Shelvie. Her children and her brother, Francis Bell survive her along with a host of extended family members who will always remember the love and warmth she brought into their lives. Sandra's life was a testament to compassion and resilience.
