Teresa LaShawn Samuels

On February 10, 1978, a beautiful soul was born, Teresa LaShawn Samuels also known as Ree-bop and Bop to the late Janice Jones and George Samuels in Washington, DC .

Her career of over 18 years was with The Office of The State Superintendent Of Education (OSSE) as a dedicated bus attendant.

On July 19, 2023, Rebop was called home suddenly where she was welcomed into God’s heavenly gates by her beloved grandparents, Lillie Mae and Fred; her parents, Janice, and George; her aunts: Hazel, Lillie Mae, Christine, Nancy, Doris; and Uncle Nathan (Yates).

She leaves to cherish her memory, her sister Tasha; her brothers Nakia Armwood and Valente Williams; her Lucky 7: Teeshaun, Shantice, Stephanie, Tyra, Terry, Taylor and Tyrone; her 6 grandchildren:  Aziyah, Gabriel, Kennedy, Sage, Neeko, and Blessing: Her Aunt Ann, Uncles Bobby, Charles, & Rico, a lifelong partner Tyrone Jackson and a host of other relatives and friends.
